On a beautiful day in early November all the grade 1 classes traveled to Lake Minnewasta to experience the outdoors. We looked for footprints in the snow, collected leaves and branches, built snowmen and even watched three muskrats swimming in the lake. From this experience, 1 AS was able to do writing and create a collage of items we found.
