We are studying about plants in Science. It started with a field trip to Discovery Nature Sanctuary (DNS) in Winkler. The students looked at the different plants we find in wetland, grassland, and forest habitats and the importance of respecting nature so that plants and animals can thrive. Afterwards we researched about these habitats at school.
Finally, we ended our study with an art project of drawing and painting some ducks. A bird that lives in the wetland habitat.
