This week, the Kindergarten classes went on a field trip to the fire station! The students have been learning about the important role firefighters play in our community.
We were warmly welcomed by the Fire Chief, who taught us how to stay safe around fires, how to put a fire out, and how to stop, drop, and roll. He also gave us a tour of the fire station, where we learned about the different fire trucks and what each one is used for.
We had so much fun learning about this vital job and how firefighters help keep our community safe!
